Nordic Eye Sales Accelerator is pleased to have secured the UK Distribution Rights for UVD Robots.
Nordic Eye has invested €6 million into the Danish robotics company Blue Ocean Robotics. Blue Ocean Robotics develop and produce professional service robots including the UVD Robot, GoBe Robots and PTR Robots. Nordic Eye owns 15.4% of the company.
Currently the UVD Robots are deployed in hospitals and businesses in more than 40 countries to help combat the wide spread of Covid-19. Using ultraviolet light, the UVD Robot can autonomously, disinfect and kill 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria and other harmful microorganisms living on surfaces and in the air.
The concentrated UV-C light emitted by the UVD Robots as they drive around has a germicidal effect that removes virtually all airborne viruses and bacteria on the surfaces of a room. The UVD Robot has been clinically tested and verified at Odense University Hospital and by independent microbiological laboratories.
